See what I am currently working on below!

Please note that I may switch, postpone, shelve, trunk, or even cancel listed projects at any time! I’m still developing my craft and I find it useful to pursue projects I’m interested in at the moment, even if that may mean abandoning an older project that I love.

FEEDBACK

  • Solace Curse Holdings: Webcomic script
    • Reggie, an employee at Solace Curse Holdings, must reunite with his estranged sister Mira, after her best friend comes to Solace to be cursed.
    • Gaslamp fantasy
    • What if you could temporarily remove your witch’s curse, and pass it down the family line like an unwanted heirloom?
    • I just sent out the last part of the alpha read this morning! I’m hoping to revisit Solace with a third draft starting of February of 2026, using all the lovely feedback I’ve received from my dear friends and family. Progress continues!
    • Co-developing with my artist friends Carly (insta) and Ari (tumblr)

DRAFTING

  • The Humorists: Novella
    • In an alternate fantasy Chicago, where Galen was at least a little bit right, humorists purposefully unbalance their humors to magical effect. When a dangerous substance begins to flood the markets, a humorist and her adopted dads work to uncover the criminals behind the scheme.
    • Urban Fantasy
    • You know that historical fiction trope where doctors use leeches to treat diseases? That has its basis in humoral theory, which was the prevailing theory of medicine before we discovered germ theory. The idea was that the human body runs on four humors: blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile, and that having too much or too little of one humor was the primary cause of disease. So like, what if you could purposefully unbalance yourself to do magic?
    • Oops, this blew up massively in size. No longer is this a short story, it’s a full-blown novella with 7 planned chapters. So, uh, work continues! (because God has cursed me for my hubris, and my work is never finished)
  • Degenerates: Tabletop roleplaying game
    • Whoopsie daisy! You and your uber-powerful adventuring friends up and got yourselves cursed by an evil wizard. Your powers are dwindling. You need to find a cure fast, lest they be lost forever.
    • Fantasy TTRPG
    • It’s been three years since I last published an original game, and I’m excited to be returning with such a weird little project!
    • I am SO CLOSE to being done with this. I just need to finish all of the item tables (there are so many items omg), and then run through a couple of test plays before this is ready for my itchio page.
  • Child of the Dawn: Novel
    • Delphine was once the greatest heroine of her generation, groomed from birth to wield the power of the goddess Theris. Now she is a hermit, living in hiding from a church that would gladly kill her. When two young boys with an ominous tie to her past show up on her doorstep, and monsters from the legends of old descend on her forest, she may receive a second chance to be the protector she thought she was.
    • Fantasy
    • I managed to succeed in completing Thirty30k! The first draft at Child of the Dawn is officially 50% complete at 30,780 words. I’m taking December to finish some other projects, and I’m hoping to finish this draft up in 2026

DEVELOPING

  • Heisting Hammerspace: Short story
    • When Perri’s uncle runs afoul of a wizard, the wizard magically retaliates by stealing several acres of prime farmland to serve as his magical storage space. It’s up to Perri to break into the wizard’s house and get it back.
    • Urban/Contemporary Fantasy
    • Inspired by a classic D&D item: the bag of holding. Where does all that stuff go? Do you have to rent hammerspace in order to make it work? All my postulations led me here.
    • I’m going a little slower on this because I don’t know what the ending is going to be yet, but I’m really enjoying the voice of this character so far.
